Will not protect the screen from a flat fall.

This case does not sit above the screen level so that if the phone falls it is 100% going to break the screen. I know this because my screen has now broken twice because of this flaw. Totally worthless case. DO NOT BUY!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're so sorry to hear that your S20+ has twice suffered damage to its display while under the watch of the Symmetry Series case. The edging of this model actually does provide enough clearance that if you were to set your Galaxy/Otter combo face down on a flat surface the device screen wouldn't make contact, though we understand that's not necessarily the same dynamic as any given impact situation.
Have you been using our Alpha Flex screen protector along with the case? Although we perform extensive drop testing on each of our case designs, the use of such a piece is never a bad idea. Regardless, we would very much like to help get you set up with a new OtterBox for a fresh start on that side of things, but unfortunately, our warranty cannot be extended to your actual device.
