Purchased a new one. Love it. My husband is hooked on pods after 40 years of brewing coffee. Thank you

Thanks for your review and feedback Mckenzie. We're happy to know that you're maintaining your coffee maker, keeping it clean and functioning properly. Happy brewing!
My Keurig still keeps telling me that I to descale and I've done it a couple of times and I still get the same message. Save your money and by some vinegar.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear about your experience descaling your Keurig coffee maker. Please reach out to our Consumer Care team at 866-901-2739, we will be happy to help!
The descaler worked well for cleaning the machine itself. Before cleaning I was getting lots of flecks in my cup anytime I brewed tea or ran it empty to clean it (with just water). Now, now more cups full of scaly flaky grossness.
The carafe cleaners worked well. With the design of the carafe for the new-ish duo, it is hard to ever get the thing fully dry (pools collect under the rim when emptying upside down). So having the cleaner helped both with coffee residue and a bit of water mineral that had built up in the pot.
I used the other items in the kit too but in the future might just buy separately. The cleaning pods are suggested once a week. So getting three in this kit seems like too few. I had a bunch of filters already so didn’t need those as much as the other items.
Worth it if you won’t run the pod cleaner often and want an all in one kit!
My question to Keurig - could you package with less plastic overall? Much of the packaging is on-recyclable except through expensive services like Terracycle.
To keep my brewer running at its best this is the best way, keeping the filters and buildup at their prime, this kit helps me keep a cleaning schedule.
