Nice Connectivity Hub

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product because my new HP computer only came with a few I/O ports and I needed to connect multiple monitors as well as a few accessory devices to get my work station up and going. I like the size of the hub at 5"x5" but the issue comes with hiding the power cable and block. Not too much of a big deal but it's kinda in the way and makes the back of my desk messy.
Pros: Lightweight

Highly recommend this dock if you have a permanent workstation. My macbook doesn't work with many docs bc Mac doesn't like to play nice with peripherals. However this one connected just fine and I was able to connect my monitor no problem. It was having issues with my second monitor though so I don't know whats is the deal. Overall it looks great at for 1 monitor works like a champ. Highly recommended and I don't need extra USB port fixtures plus it looks really sleek

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first transition from a physical docking station to USB-C docking was not pleasant.... until I bought the HP G5 dock. I'm running a new HP Spectre X360 with the laptop + 2 HP monitors. My first USB-C dock (another brand) was cheaper, but would freeze my extra displays (with the correct setup and drivers). HP to the rescue! I purchased the new G5 dock and had it up and running in less than 10 minutes, including configuration.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a dock for my new HP Spectre x360 that would allow me to connect an external keyboard, mouse, and 2 monitors. I tried another brand and, while it worked, required software to be installed and caused some intermittent freezing/stuttering. I decided to give this dock a try and it works perfectly without the need for additional software with no freezing or stuttering. What's also great about it is it works with my work (HP) laptop as well, so I'm able to swap out laptops as the need arises.

This dock delivers. One USB-C Thunderbolt cable to the HP laptop is all that is needed to drive 2 27 inch monitors, wireless mouse & keyboard, webcam, and a USB thumb drive. The cable also maintains a charge on the laptop and all that is needed is a single touch to the power button on the dock to wake the system.
