Coil stove medium quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is replacing a 25 yr old double stack stove. I chose it because I do alot of canning and feel a coil stove is a better choice for that task. So far, this range works great, no issues with functions. What I have found is that the burners are set a bit closer together with more room around the outside border of range top. With that, the flat center of the stove doesn't allow enough flat surface to set a 10 inch pan off any burner. You always have to keep pans on a burner or remove from stove to countertop as they will not set flat without partially sitting on a burner. No room for a lid to be set down between burners when tending to cooking food, so again, your hot, possibly drippy lid, is being set atop a burner or must go to the countertop. With limited countertop next to my stove, this is not ideal. The other issue I have with it is the middle of the coils have a 'riser' of sorts in them. This depresses with the weight of the pan, i am guessing not wanting you to use a smaller pan on larger burner. An empty lightweight pan of appropriate size doesn't sit quite flat on coil until you put the weight of food in it and then it depresses the 'riser'. Last negative thing, the black surface top seems to already have a tad flatness in color. I have used just mild soap to clean, even tried windex to make sparkle but not pristine as it was out of the box. With only having this installed for a month, I would think it should still look awesome even with the amount of cooking I do and the care being given to cleaning. The oven seems to work great, broiler great. This is not my dream stove but I believe it will do for now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range was included in my new home. Oven has never worked properly. The top broiling element doesn't work at all and the temperature fluctuates by 25-30 degrees. Using the oven has been very frustrating as I have to constantly monitor the food cooking. Stove top seems to be working fine.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with my new Whirlpool stove! Just turned 68 years old this is the first time I have ever owned a brand new stove. It might seem a little funny to be so excited about an appliance purchase, but all my friends have been getting getting an earful from me about how great it is. I did the research online and the process ended up being incredibly easy. From the time I walked into Nampa Appliance in Nampa, Idaho, the whole thing took less than ten minutes. Delivery and setup were prompt, professional and pleasant and in the past couple of weeks, I have learned more about baking than I ever thought I'd know! I will definitely be purchasing a Whirlpool appliance from Nampa Appliance again. In fact, I've already started saving my pennies for a new washer and dryer combo!
