Not thrilled

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range because I wanted coil burners instead of ceramic cooktop and there were very few choices. I can't boil water for pasta because the burners cut out just as the water is finally coming to a boil. Also, the pots and pans drawer is very thin aluminum.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this stove. I don't understand why it chirps while heating up the oven. Previously I had a glass top stove, and this is much nicer. I'll have to buy the additional burner for canning. Although, I think it should automatically come with the stove. I like that it is not complicated to use. Just straightforward.

Solid built range

The problem was the handle came off after two months, the oven door was never right after that. We chose this range as a replacement because of the superior workmanship and our beliefs are that this range will definitely outlast brand X.

Very efficient and dependable stove!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great stove! We went back to the electric coils and find that it is more efficient and easier to control while cooking. The only issue we find is when putting a hot lid on the stovetop, it created a ring on the black stovetop and we cannot get it out, no matter what we use to try and take it out. Less than a month old at that time. This is a bargain from other stoves that we found the replacement parts and repair would cost almost as much as this stove. I gave 4 stars, would add another half a star for a great product, just the stovetop issue is a bummer.

Buying this stove was a BIG MISTAKE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really don't like this stove. The burners go 'off and on" so do not maintain constant heat - this makes cooking very uneven. The manual says that you cannot use burner or oven liners - so the burner trays are immediately stained and awful, I clean them frequently, but the surface absorbs that "stains" from everything - they are not in any way "non-stick" so everything sticks to them and its a major struggle to try to get them clean -and actually impossible. I really wish I had just gotten my old stove repaired. BIG MISTAKE!
