What I Was Looking For

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric range was what I was looking for - not a flat top. The burners heat quickly and stay at their temperatures throughout the cooking process. I like the number of racks in the oven. I find the warming drawer a little difficult to open.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 'I am not a fan of glass top ranges so stick to coils ..!! This one is fine and dandy. The burners heat well despite the safety feature, the oven heats well, doesn't take long. I am happy with it, have not used the keep warm setting yet but will try when I need to. I am very satisfied.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall great inexpensive electric range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it's great! I love how evenly it cooks. It's quick to heat up & it tells you it's still hot after cooking to prevent burning yourself. The only negative is cleaning the top. When I wipe it off after cleaning it's kind of smear. I usually just dry it with some pressure & it looks nice.

Excellent Range

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a great range for a decent price! i am enjoying using it. All my appliances are Whirlpool and match! The stove top burners are working well and temperature is consistent. I have only used the oven twice, once to bake and was very impressed. When I baked cakes in my old oven, once side was always flatter than the other, but with my new range, my cake came out perfectly. I will continue to purchase Whirlpool Appliances, and highly recommend them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range because my old Hotpoint purchased in the 80's finally gave out in a big way. I went with the coil burners because I do home canning and knew a glass top would not hold up. I did use it for some canning and it did perform satisfactorily. Things that could be improved: markings for the knobs and overall quality. The markings for the knobs are tiny and hard to read. Also, I have a feeling that in time, the markings for the knobs will wear off, if the range lasts as long as it should. My old one had markings on the knobs that were easy to read and NEVER wore off. I would probably swap them out if I could, but the settings are opposite (Whirlpool High is on the right, Hotpoint on the left). Storage drawer is shallow and flimsy. There is room to make it deeper, Why isn't it? The small front burner with a melt setting doesn't heat up on the lowest setting. I have to turn it to 9 o'clock to get it to do anything. The digital display is okay, once I got used to it. I cover up the clock at night because it is so bright. When the timer goes off, it's easy to ignore. I prefer something more obnoxious that gets my attention so I don't space it off when distracted. I haven't tried the self-cleaning feature yet.

Exciting For New Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weve had it a couple weeks and so far so good. Burners heat up quickly and are hotter than my old stove. Oven works great. I didnt notice it in the store, but the warmer drawer is very shallow. It does not extend the full depth of the stove, so storage space underneath is limited and the drawer itself feels a little flimsy. We will see how it holds up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coil burners do not hold a temp. If I set it to high, it gets hot, then it cools down, so no consistency. The oven is set at 350° and sounds at what it says 350°, but in reality it is only 300°. It does finally get up to the proper temp, but does not brown or heat through to the center. I will not be keeping it.

Well defined labels on range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The purchase of a new Mobile home came with Whirlpool appliances. Range has worked perfectly so far, very happy with it. Couldn’t use at first due to mis-labeling in breaker box by the mobile home manufacturer. Which had nothing to do with Whirlpool. Appliance is easy to use and clean.
