Garbage, so far

Absolutely worthless documentation. They do not include instructions in the box. How difficult would it be to print a sheet of paper and include it. Instead, they want you to visit the website and watch a video? When you do finally find anything printed, it offers no real help. Really disappointed and I am still working to get it set up.

Doesn't Close or Open Door From App

Doesn't Close or Open Door From App. It will tell me if it is opened or Closed which is nice but will not open or close the door. When I try to close or open from the app it makes the beeping it says it will and says the request is "accepted" but does nothing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible product

Horrible product. It worked for about 6 months than stopped. I have contacted the company at least 3-4 times and no o e can figure out the problem. They keep saying that their engineers will be in touch but never call. Would stay away from this item.

Easy to install and use

Installation for the most part was easy with my older Genie Pro Screw Drive opener (model #: CM8600IC/A) and the Aladdin Connect App on my Smartphone is easy to use. The only issue I had was the registration initially reported as failed when I started to setup the Aladdin Connect App on my Android phone, but I was still able to logon with the username and password I had initially entered then going to the Doors section in the app and manually adding a door to continue the installation. If anything changes as I use it over the next few weeks, I'll be sure to report back. Highly recommended so far!! :-)

Beyond Convenient

I did not think that having a smartphone app controlled garage door would make life that much easier but it did. Over the years I had lost a couple remotes and was tired of buying new ones so I figured that my phone was always in my pocket and I doubt I will lose it. Also, the security of only allowing access during certain hours and the alerts that the door is opening is a good peace of mind.

Must follow instructions! Once I followed instructions and did the setup next to my modem then move to the garage for final steps it made connecting very easy!
