I purchased one of these kits and installed it on my old Genie IS550, and it works great. I have a bad habit of driving out of the garage and not closing the door (or at least thinking I didn't close the door). Now I can just look at my phone and see if it closed instead of having to drive all the way back home!

My OHD Anywhere had stopped working and upon calling their technical support, they determined it needed replacing and recommeded the Aladdin Connect product as an identical replacement. After receiving, then installing, going through the set-up to operate
directions, it to the same point in attempted setup where the previous OHD Anywhere product failed.
Contacting technical support twice with lengthy calls, they were unable to determine the reason for the units inabilty to operate.

Prior to its dailure the previous OHD unit worked successfully for almost 2 yrs.
I emailed Aladdin requesting a return authorization and the reply was since the box had been opened, it did not qualify for a return. I'm sure Aladdin is a top notch manufacturer, but my experience with this particular unit was a failure and waste of expenditure for it.

With careful reading of instructions it’s fairly easy to install. However,the program to close door after 30 minutes does not seem to work, even with an excellent wi-fi connection.
