I bought a second charging coaster so that I would have one at work and at home. I'm addicted to this mug and I like my coffee pretty hot, so on a cold day, the battery works hard and doesn't stay charged all that long. Having the charger at hand all the time is just the ticket.

Weak performance - nearly useless

I bought this so I could use my Travel Mug 2 all day at work - but it is barely able to put any charge in the battery!.
The charging base that came with the Travel Mug2 will both keep the liquid hot, and increase the charge in the battery. This will barely keep the liquid warm and won't add anything to the battery level even if you wait all day. It's almost useless.

Can be control the temp thru the amazing app on your phone (type of drink / coffee, tea, latte )
As it turns our I like mine quite a bit hotter
