Return terrible appliance

I returned this oven after the first time using it. It was like trying to cook on an easybake kids oven.

Damaged Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not a freestanding range - it is supposed to be a slide in, so I am not sure why this review states freestanding. I received the range dented on the side. The delivery crew was worthless. We like the range, but it was a hassle going through the delivery process, and I did not receive fair compensation for the damage.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks nice, but the range top is impossible to keep clean and it scratches with the slightest movement of pots and pans. I did not have this problem with my previous stove, And the heating elements do not work very well, my hotplate boils water faster! I paid a lot of money for a very substandard product—again!

The size and type of cookware used will influence the heat setting needed for the best cooking results.
Your ceramic glass cooktop has heating elements below a smooth glass surface. The designs on the ceramic cooktop outline the areas of the surface elements underneath. Always match the pan size with the diameter of the element outline on the cooktop. We recommend using only flat-bottomed cookware.
Using the proper cookware in the cooking area should improve efficiency. Please review pages 12-14 of your model’s “Use & Care” for more information on which pots and pans work well with your range’s smooth cooktop.
Did you know? Coarse particles such as salt or hardened soils between cooktop and utensils can cause scratches or “bubbling” between the ceramic glass. Be sure your cooktop surface and bottoms of the utensils are clean before use. Small scratches do not affect cooking and will become less visible with time.
Our Frigidaire ReadyClean™ Glass and Ceramic Cooktop Cleaner leaves a protective finish on the glass to help prevent scratches and abrasions.

Never worked well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this brand new in November. Used the oven about 5 times in 5 mos as we weren’t living in the home during renovations. After 5 uses the oven stopped working. The cooktop works well. They did repair it. We’ll see how things go. It seems to be of very poor quality. It shakes, vibrates & makes a fan noise while preheating & cooling down. Not happy with the purchase.

I understand you’re noticing some sounds coming from your range. Rest assured, your unit is operating as it should.
The fan is for cooling the inner components of your oven during/after cooking, it may take a while to cool your oven if your oven has been used for a long period.
A buzzing or humming noise is not unusual, especially at high settings. Sounds are less likely to occur with heavier, higher quality cookware.
Also, ensure your range is leveled by adjusting the leveling legs. An unleveled surface may cause your range to shake.

Great replacement

Even though dimensions supposedly same still had to have countertop trimmed,causing delay in being able to use. After almost a month still having fumes coming from oven after doubling initial burn off of the machine oils.
