I purchased this oven in mid October-it was delivered in November. It burns everything. You cook at the temperature you always did and things are burned on bottom but fine on top. The burner that has the quick boil also continues to cook at what seems to be a higher heat level. The glass top is so hard to keep clean it seems it draws dust to it on a daily basis. I had a smooth top before but it was black and white-this glass black top is something that I cannot think anyone would be able to keep clean-it shows every speck of dust. My biggest concern is cooking in it and on it. I need to be able to use it without burning everything. Is there something I don't know about temperatures-do i not use the temperature indicated on a recipe like I always have? Are there special pans you must use in the oven or on the range? I wish I had my 20 year old oven back. It was starting to have some repair issues but I never had these types of issues figuring out how to cook something.

Your appliance has been factory calibrated and tested to ensure an accurate baking temperature. For the first few uses, follow your recipe times and temperature recommendations carefully. If you think the oven is cooking too hot or too cool for your recipe times, you can adjust the control so the oven cooks hotter or cooler than the temperature displayed. Instructions on how to do so can be found in your Use and Care Guide on page 29. Please note, that the material of bakeware affects how evenly and quickly it transfers heat from the pan to the food. For example,dark bakeware cooks hotter than shiny bakeware, which could result in food cooking quicker from the bottom up. More examples can be found on page 9 in your Use and Care Guide. The quick boil feature helps you get meals on the table faster with our 3,000W element - water boils faster than the traditional setting. It is normal to experience higher heat levels on this burner when cooking. Consistent and proper cleaning is essential to maintaining your ceramic glass cooktop. For light to moderate soil: Apply a few drops of cooktop cleaning cream directly to the cooktop. Use a clean paper towel to clean the entire cooktop surface. Make sure the cooktop is cleaned thoroughly, leaving no residue. Do not use the towel you use to clean the cooktop for any other purpose. For heavy, burned on soil: Apply a few drops of cooktop cleaning cream directly to the soiled area. Rub the soiled area using a non-abrasive cleaning tool, applying pressure as needed. Do not use the pad you use to clean the cooktop for any other purpose. If soils remain, carefully scrape soils with a metal razor blade scraper, holding scraper at a 30-degree angle to the surface. Remove loosened soils with cooktop cleaning cream and buff the surface clean. Hopefully, this information helps.
