Noisy fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven has a fan that is used to cool the electronics. It starts automatically when the oven is turned on and continues to run until we’ll after the oven is turned off. It is annoyingly loud and seems to vibrate in the appliance. I’m considering taking the appliance apart to see if I can reduce the vibration. Other than that issue the oven heats well and holds the heat well. The stovetop heats well. The electronic control panel could be engineered a little better. There are lights that indicate when the oven is on and preheating but they are extremely dim when viewed from a standing position. If I bend down to view them they are much brighter. Not ideal as I have inadvertently turned the oven off more than once and didn’t notice it for some time. The appliance is visually appealing. The drawer in the bottom is satisfactory. This is a basic oven/range. If I can get the fan to quiet down I can live with the other issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only a month old and there is already something wrong with it... the oven will not turn OFF! It says off on the control panel, but it is very much running AND heating!

I’m cooking!

At 72 years of age new technology is frustrating.But granny had no trouble cooking for 10 people the day it arrived ! What a wonderful transition I experienced .. My goal is moving out the rest of my 1985 appliances! I’ll be dancing in my kitchen instead of avoiding it!

The size of the burners are not realistic. One huge burner in the front and 2 small ones in the back. The only usable burner is the one on the left front. Hard to cook a meal using one burner. Also the surface is awful. No matter what cleaner I use, it smears and never looks clean. I am not very happy with this purchase.

Frigidaire Range

I purchased this range back in February and it was delivered in June. It had a bad dent so they reordered it. The range never came. A 3rd order was placed in September. The range was delivered December 10th. I installed it 2 days before Christmas. I prepped the top as instructed. I was very careful not to scratch the top. I cooked gravy and potatoes on the cooktops. A splatter of gravy and what must have been splashes of the starch from the potatoes has stained the cooktop. No glass cleaner has worked to remove the stains. No matter what I use the top looks old and streaky. Also, the top is not smooth. There is a front piece of metal that folds over the top lip, and it's a place for small particles of food to get stuck. Don't get me started on the flimsy oven racks. I hate this range. I don't know if I can return it or not, but if I can I will.
