I Love Electric Ranges

It fits my need for heavy duty baking, especially during the holidays when we bake cookies for our neighborhood. It did take me a while to get used the burners, considering I’m used to working with gas. It’s quite, well designed, and easy to clean up! I’m keeping this one for the long haul!!w

Same as the old model but several improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the old version of this model when we bought our home. The old one was still working good after 18 years but was starting to go down hill. What we like: fast water boil feature, brighter control panel, stainless knobs, hidden bottom heating element in the stove. Things we didn't like compared to the old: bottom storage drawer is not as heavy duty and is a little smaller. Biggest dis-like and what keeps me from giving this a "5" star is the cooking timer. It only goes off once when your food is done. The old model continued to beep every 30 seconds if you missed the first beep. Also the beeper in the new model could be a little louder. The beeper will go off again but much later just to let you know you left the timer on. If you have lost some of your hearing like me then you will need to keep an eye on the time. That is just in case you don't hear the beeper going off. Over all we are very happy with the unit and I would buy it again.
