More than I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely happy with this stove! It is definitely more than I expected. I like the broiling with the door feature. We got new smoke alarms, and they are extremely sensitive and would go off every time we did, so the broiling with the door closed was a big turn on for me. I did this all over the phone and this was a suggestion from the clerk. The other stove I wanted would take a long time to be delivered. I could not be happier. This has the warming burner and the quick boil burner which I also love. I knew I would be getting the smooth top. I have had smooth tops for years and love them. Thank you Frigidaire for a great product!

Scratches Easily and Difficult to Clean

This range looks beautiful before using. We followed the instructions for cleaning before using. After the first use of the ceramic cook top, it scratched and could not be buffed. After the second and third consecutive uses, it is covered in scratches. We use good quality cookware and have used this type of cookware for years on other ceramic cook tops. Both Frigidaire and Spencer's (where we purchased) said that it was only cosmetic and they could not do anything about the range (nor would they exchange it for a new one, despite it was less than a week old). The entire stove is hard to keep clean and needs to be scrubbed after every use and still looks terrible. The oven is also very hot and food needs to be monitored or the temperature needs to be decreased. The burners work well and heats food quickly but it is easy to turn on the knobs easily when cleaning the stove so beware. We have purchased other Frigidaire ranges in the past and have never been disappointed before. I would NOT RECOMMEND this model to anyone.
