Heats well, but makes a weird buzzing sound and has stains on cook top after 3rd use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this stove brand new, it seems to cook well but there are 2 things I don't like. It makes a weird buzzing sound as soon as it begins to heat up. From Googling it, it seems to be some form of a cooling fan but it's quite loud. Also, there are some stains on the cook top that got there after the 2nd or 3rd time using it, and now they won't come off.

Problems turning off oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm now on my second range. The first one the oven wouldn't turn off. The store replaced it and the new one won't shut off for an hour after I hit the off button. I contacted Frigidaire and they arranged a service call. Parts are on order. Hopefully when the parts are installed the oven will shut off. Right now I use the range and when finished I turn off the electricity to it.
I'm not too happy with this purchase. Probably would have been better off choosing another brand.

Can't attest to any noticeable improvement in cooking as my wife was already doing a great job but she does seem very pleased with the functioning of the range.

I will not buy another

putting the oven on auto clean, preparing for Thanksgiving, the oven and broiler do not work. Finding a solution to the problem has been time consuming and annoying. . If you have the same problem. I will never consider this manufacturer again.

Modern/Chic/Not-So-Practical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came with the renovated property and matches great with my other stainless steel Frigidaire appliances, but if I had the choice, I would've opted for controls up top towards the back of the range, because I keep bumping up against the front controls. Also, not the most kid/toddler friendly (too easy to reach and turn) and the clockface is difficult to read at this awkwardly low angle unless you're directly facing the stove. Love the hot stove warning light feature and the beautiful flat top, though the maintenance is certainly more than expected!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An aluminum tray we placed on the bottom to help keep it clean welded onto the surface. There is an aluminum warning embossed in practically the same color. So, we had to buy another oven bottom within a month of purchase. Also, many slide-in oven manufacturers' have trim kits available to make the sides and back of their ovens look built-in and keep crumbs and liquids from spilling into the gaps. Frigidaire (manufacturer Electrolux) doesn't!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
