Stove Chosen by Seller of Home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model was the stove supplied by the seller of the home I bought after his kitchen remodel. The stove meets my basic needs but the oven is noisy to operate. I do like the small rim around the entire glass surface that keeps boil-overs from running down the side of the stove between the counter and stove. I cook for myself so I do wish the small burners, which I use most frequently, were placed at the front of the stove instead of the back. After two months, I have yet to use the largest burner in the front and have used the larger outer ring of the dual burner once. Although the oven is noisy to operate, the temperature settings and uniformity of baking seem to be very good for the cookies and pies I have made. The oven is very roomy and could handle a large roasting pan well although I haven' used it for that yet.

Almost lost everything.

Until yesterday I had been somewhat pleased with my range. It wasn’t that bad other than a few minor things. I came home from work early today. Thank goodness. I have a doggie in the house and it was filled with smoke. I went hastily searching. I didn’t have to go far. My range was on fire. The control panel and knobs were burnt off. I went and shut the breakers off. It had burnt some things beside the stove and was starting to melt my new counters. My wood floors are ruined too. Be very careful if you want to buy this unit. I’ve had it 2 years and worked so hard to keep it almost spotless. Which is very very hard to do. We will not be buying another one after this. This was one of the scariest days of my life.
