Pretty good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks nice, was pretty simple to install, and the first thing I baked came out perfectly. I'm a little frustrated with how it seems that everything that gets on the glass top is stuck there & takes considerable effort to clean off - I've used the cream cleaner which is supposed to also polish and leave a protective coating but I don't notice much difference. Everything that escapes a pan becomes a chore to get off. Right now I'm battling oil that splattered from frying fish. Also, the dials are easy to knock and turn on accidentally - we'd plugged the stove back in after making some cabinet adjustments and trying to get it in there without turning on the cook top was a trick - just something I'll need to look out for esp if we have little kids visiting. All in all though I'm happy with it and I'm sure I will learn all its particularities and be able to better anticipate them.

I usually dont write reviews,but short and sweet. I really like the fridgedare products.You can just tell from when you open the box.This was made with pride and they really do perform for years. Thank you for your hard work and trying to manufacture in America.

I've cooked on the stovetop 5 times and the stains aren't coming off. I bought the cleaner/protectant and used it first, but the area where the pan was has remained gummy.

Hi, LizMer! We are sorry to hear you are having issues cleaning the cooktop. For heavy burned on soils, we recommend applying a few drops of the cooktop cleaning cream directly to the soiled area. Then, rub the soiled area using a non-abrasive cleaning tool, applying pressure as needed. For additional tips, please see page 32 in the Use and Care Guide.
