Good stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stove is great, however, the small burners need to be on the front as they are the burners used the most. It creates problems with people of shorter stature and back issues.

Handsome, solid stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We lived our old Hardwick stove, but the scientific evidence about gas appliances in the home are pretty compelling. We made the switch and are surprised how much we enjoy this range. The stove top heat is consistent and easy to control, and the oven is the same. Maintaining the glass top is a new habit, but we're getting used to it. I wish the largest, and it's large!, burner were in the back but overall am very satisfied with our purchase

Poor cooktop

Hi, Eetje! Some models are equipped with fans that run during and after normal operation to cool and ventilate the appliance. On some models, the fan will begin to run as soon as a function is activated. It is normal for these fans to continue to run during any kind of operation. They may also run for an extended period of time, even when the oven is off. Takes getting used to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's taking me a long time to get used to using the new range.Also, in order to keep it clean, I need to use the special cleaner and polish it with paper towels in order for it to look its best. It's hard to control the temperature to cook properly.

We recommend using a ceramic cooktop cleaning cream. Clean and buff with a clean paper towel. This will make cleaning easier when soiled from cooking. Regarding the temperature, always pre-set your oven, use proper cookware, and properly adjust the racks for your baking needs. Frigidair Stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like my new stove. The black is great for not showing fingerprints and smudges. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the finish is rubbing off too soon. Within a few weeks you could see where the finish on the plastic front was coming off due to use. I wouldn't expect this to happen until years later. It takes away from the appearance of the appliance and hope it doesn't get worse. Just don't drag your pans across the top plastic piece where the knobs are located.

New Freestanding Electric Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this Range for over a week now and really like how evenly it bakes food. It has a cool down mechanism so once you turn the oven off, it sounds like the system is still on but it is just cooling down. Nice feature. The only issue is that it makes alot of noise in the back of the stove when it heats up and cools down. Not sure if we just need to tighten up something in the back of the range. Overall a very nice range for the price.
