Still loving the Gallery Line!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Frigidaire Gallery refrigerator first. We loved it so much, that we went back to purchase range within a couple of weeks. This oven heats up faster than the Maytag, simple options and not too fancy that you can't figure out to use it. Love it!

Surface Control Knobs too easily pushed to emit gas with no spark

We have had this range for a few years now and although quite happy with its performance with cooking and baking we are at odds with the front control knobs being too easily nudged allowing gas to emit without the 'sparking' noise. We have had this happen a number of times and most recently as we were both afflicted with Covid and not able to smell the odor...when feeling a bit lightheaded, I looked at the range and saw that one of the knobs was in an on position and realized it had gotten nudged perhapsy while cleaning up after cooking or when I used the overhead microwave. I turned it off and opened windows and doors them for a time to clear the house. Was very unsettling. Have there been other incidences reported? Is there a better knob/control design that would require more effort to turn the knob to ignite?
