Great stove!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I junked a electric stove and bought this one, I have never had a gas stove before and I am 76 years old.. The heat is more uniform, and it cooks faster. I was really surprised when I did popcorn on the stove and every kernel popped!! I backed a pie today and it turned out excellant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After six months, one of the igniter switches, on the front element I use the most, went out and wouldn’t spark. I contacted customer service and they arranged for a repair with a local company. It was fixed the next week. I was happy about that, but it should not happen on a brand new appliance.

Gas is great but smokes a lot when using the broiling feature

Thank you for making us aware of your experience, XO369. Grease build up on oven surfaces. Grease or food splatters will cause excessive smoking. Ensure the meat isn't too close to the broil element or burner. Reposition the broil pan to provide proper clearance between the meat and broil element or burner. You may also reference page 26 in your Use & Care manual which provides more details on using your broiler.
