Poor Self Cleaning Feature Design

While this range is beautiful and has many convenient options, the self cleaning function is not one of them. After a year of use and the second time to self clean, during the self cleaning cycle the oven shut off and would not turn back on. Not only would the oven not turn back on and this included lighting the gas burners, the oven door was locked shut. Being that the oven was just out of the 1 year warranty time period, we had an appliance repair specialist come out. The oven could not be repaired without removing multiple parts and breaking the oven door lock. We were told that it was cheaper to buy a brand new oven then to continue with the repair. So about 1 year after purchasing this oven, we had to purchase a brand new one. I will never by an oven from Fridgedaire again and was extremely disappointed that this oven failed. This was not my first purchase of a range and I have never experienced such a sort appliance life span.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased this model to replace a similar Frigidaire Gallery that was no longer serviceable. Although the item description seemed clear, I was disappointed to find (when it was delivered) that the control panel no longer had the keypad that allows one to simply enter in the temperature - and now we're back to doing the "up-arrow-thing". Also, the central griddle option has been replaced by a single burner beneath the stovetop grate. There is no broiler pan (which, admittedly, I never used) and we're now down to two oven racks instead of three! All in all, I'm not as happy with this unit as I was with the previous model, even taking into consideration of the fact that the supply chain is disrupted, workers are hard to find, etc., etc. I have no choice but to learn to love this model but I do have to say that my estimation of Frigidaire might have slipped a bit.

The flames are the best feature. They go straight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knobs seem to be plastic and may melt if oven door is open too long while oven is hot. The black part underneath the burners is smudging easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give 5 stars, but I think the gas volume for the stove top is just a little more difficult to control (get the right temperature) than my previous stove. Probably just getting used to the oven top compared to my previous home (where I had an extremely expensive Viking oven that came with the house).

Love the different burners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the different burners and their functions. Easy to clean. The only thing I don't like is the grates and the scraping if you move a pan. Need to figure a way to make them black again.

Frigidaire Gas Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works Fine. I had a Frigidaire in my old house that I liked better. This one doesn't have the key pad to change the temperature and for the timer. This one you have to use the arrow up & down button. It doesn't show the oven temperature as it is heating up.
