Worst range I have ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 6 weeks ago. Can’t control oven heat. Never burned so much food in my life as I have with this oven. Stove top is impossible to clean. Can’t even get grease spots off of it!!

Your appliance has been factory calibrated and tested to ensure an accurate baking temperature. For the first few uses, follow your recipe times and temperature recommendations carefully. If you think the oven is cooking too hot or too cool for your recipe times, you can adjust the control, so the oven cooks hotter or cooler than the temperature displayed. Step by step instructions on how to adjust the temperature can be found under the “Setting Oven Controls” portion of your Use and Care Guide. Do not buy this stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the gallery series refrigerator, microwave, and stove. I recommend the refrigerator and microwave. I cannot recommend the stove. The stovetop becomes very hot when the oven is in use. The stovetop is too hot to touch. The burners on the stovetop are not on and have not recently been in use. This is troublesome.

Looks Good

Stove looks great with white cabinets and black granite counter tops. Appears to be functioning properly. However, it's impossible to keep the stove top streak and smear free. We've only had the stove about a month and some of the burners look scratched.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you so much for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated. Using the cooktop cream can assist with the matter you are experiencing. For light to moderate soil, you would want to apply a few drops of the cooktop cleaning cream directly to the cooktop. Use a clean paper towel to clean the entire cooktop surface, making sure the cooktop is cleaned thoroughly, leaving no residue.
You are also able to locate additional cleaning tips in side your Owners Manual, should you like to. I hope this helps!

Great double burner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently purchased this range and are very happy with it. Having the double burner is nice and the oven cooks very evenly. We have even baked with two cookie sheets at the same time when we turn the fan on and it still cooked evenly!

Love the look and cooking features

Love the appearance and how the stove cooks, but the black stainless finish durability is a problem. It scratches very easily. Oven handle was scratched during delivery and replaced. Microwave handle has a mark from wedding band. Glass cooktop scratches easily too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pretty but lacks some common features slow preheat

Got it delivered last week. What we liked-Appearance is very nice, I like the black stainless look better than I thought I would. Fast boil worked very quickly, and all tops get very hot, fast. But when I compare it to the 12 year old regular basic unit we replaced, here are my observations: First, the old oven had the Hot Surface indicator near the front of the stove top, and it was a grid that showed exactly which burner was hot. The new Frigidaire only has a single light that doesn't show which burner is hot, it only indicates that one is. Worse, this light is up on the top of the backboard. I am not tall, but with the microwave above the oven, I can't see this light, or the Stove On light, unless I stand back or bend down. This is a serious detraction and a bit of a danger, in my opinion. The oven compartment is nice and easy to clean, with the bottom heating element enclosed. We set the oven to 425 degrees. Unlike most ovens, the display continued to show the set temperature of 425, rather then the actual temperature as it heated up. Using the Quick Oven feature took a whopping 14 minutes to preheat to 425 degrees! Lastly, the storage drawer is so close to the floor that even empty, it rubs the floor when fully opened. I can see this marring a floor over time. I suppose I can adjust all the legs upward to correct this. On a side note, I don't understand why Frigidaire ovens don't offer the control knobs on the front of a stove, with the exception of slide-in models. Seems ridiculous to have to reach across boiling pots and oil spattering pans to turn off the surface burners. If its because children may play with knobs, simply remove the knobs. If it wasn't such a hassle, I would return this.

easily scratched serface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove and oven work fine. The black finish on the stove top is terrible. It scratches very easily and looks like it several years old but is less then 6 weeks old. I would not recommend the black stainless for a stove.

Hi, unhappy cooker! I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with the finish on your appliance. This appliance has the Smudge-Proof finish, so extra care should be taken when wiping it down. Using a soft cloth, clean with mild dish detergent and water or a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Rinse with clean water, dry with a soft clean cloth. Do not use appliance cleaner, stainless steel cleaner, or cleaner containing abrasives, chlorides, chlorine, or ammonia. These cleaners may damage the finish.
