[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for 6 weeks. Followed all the instructions to clean it with damp cloth before use and had smoke fill our kitchen. Followed all instructions to prepare the stovetop and it is impossible to get stuff off. It's like it penetrates the glass. I clean it after every use and it's no use. Very disappointing.

QUALITY HAS DROPPED - FGEF3036TF Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's an expensive range but notice since my last Frigidaire range we purchased the quality of the material of the product has substantially dropped. The bottom drawer is very light and flexes too much. In addition the range now only comes with 2 grates and no broiling tray. My last range had an on indicator over every knob as well as a "hot surface indicator" over every knob. Now there is just one indicator for all of the knobs. It is difficult to tell which element is still "hot". Cutting back of these features is a disappointment. I will update in a later review how the oven is working. Hopefully it works fine. However, this might be my last Frigidaire range purchase if the quality and features continue to be dropped. Maybe we are only paying for the Frigidaire name. Look at others before deciding on this one.

Mostly Love my oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a big fan of the 5th (warmer) burner. Waste of space, not really kept anything warm yet , but just don't see us using it for any reason. We have had a bit of a learning curve, for oven since cooks different, my old stove was a hand me down, and I had it for 17 yrs myself. Love the light can be turned on and not have to open door to see, old habits die hard, we have opened the door 2 of 4 x's used :). What i definitely do not like about this stove, and other mentioned. I decided to after 2 uses to run a self clean, to make sure it worked while under the few days to decide like or hate time frame to return it. I set it for 2 hrs., after 1 hr. i couldn't take it anymore. the smell, the eyes burning in other room. I shut it down, turned heat off, was like 35 outside, and opened the windows to get rid of the smell and irritable eye burn. I'm not exactly sure what the source is, but maybe they out to look into that further, seriously. I never really used the old self cleaning in my previous oven , but i did have a bottom protector in it. This one you can NOT use. So i debated whether this was a deal breaker. I decided, ill try self clean maybe in spring, summer when i can open windows. But that means you can only use it if windows can be opened. Someone else mentioned it there review. I mean you don't really use it maybe,but for the money you spend, it is a thought before buy. Do they all smell and do this? Does anyone know why or what the odor is from? Will it stop eventually? I am hopeful.

Also, we recommend lifting your cookware before moving on your ceramic glass cooktop. Any cookware that has a rough or dirty bottom can scratch the ceramic cooktop. Always start with clean cookware.
Yes, you may see light smoke during the first couple uses with your range’s oven. This is normal. Your oven is burning off the protective coating of oil that is used during the manufacturing process.

Faster & Better Cooking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this range about 3 weeks ago. The delivery and service were amazing. The two man that came to deliver it and install it were very professional and worked fast. They were in and out in just under 20 minutes.
I've been using my new range every day and it's been a game changer! It took me a few days to adjust to the temperatures because it heats up fast and it is very strong, unlike my old one. The Quick Boil mode is the best thing ever and helps you cook and heat up things so much faster. I also really like the SpaceWise feature as you can adjust it based on the size of pan you're using. I also used it for baking and the oven was ready to go in no time and the cake and banana bread I made cooked really well and evenly.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new range that works fast, it's easy to clean and looks good. The black stainless looks very elegant and it's smudge free so cleaning the range is a breeze.

Quick Bake is a life saver

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I guess I should have read more reviews on this range. It's a beautiful sleek appliance but there are a couple things disappointed with. The first is the preheat time. It takes about 20 minutes for this oven to heat up to temperature which I feel is excessive. My other issue is it's impossible to have a streak free top. I've cleaned it and polished it so many times and still streaks. This is the first convection oven I've had and I love this feature. It takes much less time to roast my vegetables and they even crisp up a bit as if in an airfryer. I have no complaints about how it bakes. I haven't tried the self clean option yet but I'm hopeful it'll be easy.

Normal preheating can take anywhere from 7-14 minutes. However, keep in mind that higher temperatures may take longer to preheat.
Also, a tip that can help with the streaks that you are seeing, is to use a ceramic cook-top cleaning cream.
Prior to using your cooktop for the first time, apply a ceramic cook-top cleaning cream (available in most hardware, grocery, and department stores) to the ceramic surface. Clean and buff with a clean paper towel. This will make cleaning easier when soiled from cooking. You can locate additional cleaning tips in the manual on page 35.
