Works good, a little sensitive to the touch, meaning it will start if you brush it with your foot!

Problem with Release Petal

Almost since we pitched the GE trash compactor we have had issues with the foot petal release mechanism. I my opinion it is a poor design although I am no engineer.
The actual compactor works great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
