This is my second compactor, my first one lasted 12 years with no repairs and it was still working wife just wanted stainless steel.

Sleek styling but very noisy

Our old GE compactor lasted for over 20 years and served us well. Our new compactor has great style and features, but is very noisy when the compacting cycle is activated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works Great and runs quietly

This compactor replaces one that was 15 years old. This one looks great, holds a lot of trash when full and is very quiet when running. Super happy with our choice.
