REPLACED 38 YEAR OLD UNIT

This unit was slightly smaller than the unit it replaced. This was fortunate in my case because I had no trouble fitting it into the existing space. While the replaced compactor was an absolute bear to remove I think it was because we had added a hardwood floor, had the cabinets refaced and had a new countertop installed. My real hope is that this unit will last as long as our last compactor, 38 years!! While both the old and new units have different brand names on them, structurally all the differences are really cosmetic. The new unit was easy to unpack, easy to level and operates as it should. Hopefully I won't have to write another review until 2062 (by then I'll be well over 100 years old).
I would recommend this to a friend!

The new design is much cleaner and effective. The unit seems well made and I’m hoping it works a long time. Our last unit lasted 25 years so I’d say we got our money’s worth

Good looking cabinet face
