The black color looks great in my kitchen. Not too noisy. It can hold over a week's worth of trash too.

Looks good and works well but shows fingerprints. Wush it were svailable in a printless finish. Dince the design doesn't have s handle ypure always for ed to use your hand to close. Fingerprints!

This was an easy install, and has worked very well for the two weeks I have had it. There is very little to go wrong because it is one simple toe lift to make a function.

Good To Be Back in the Saddle

It is great to be back to compacting trash.I had a G.E. many years ago. As I have began remodeling my kitchen I knew this was going to be part of my plan. G.E. compactors have a great and a reliable history. I owned and operated an appliance repair business many years ago and G.E. compactors were not something that came up for service. I owned a stand alone one that I kept in my garage. Super product and should be part of every kitchen. Great machine!

I replaced my 16 year old GE compactor with this new one. It came ready to slide into the existing space, plug in, and I like the new features. This one has a foot peddle that opens hands-free, like the old one; but instead of a dial on the front, the foot pedal, when raised, operates the motor. Nice clean front! Installed in on May 10. Today is Jun 9 and we still have room to put in more trash! A bit pricey; but worth it to us!
