Bought the GE Compactor and we are IN LOVE with it! Just sorry we didn't invest in one years ago. WAY TO GO GE ON A GREAT PRODUCT!!!

Arrived broken

Did not work when it arrived at the house. Store would not take back. Had to call a local company to fix. Turned out wiring connections were loose. Took 3 weeks to fix. Not really what I wanted but in the end it works. This is not the quality I used to experience with GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far this product we love this compactor. We have no issues and it looks and works great. Only issue is it's very loud, but we have never owned a compactor, so that may be the norm.

I'd Give This ZERO Stars If I Could

We have had this compactor for 10 months and of that 10 months, it has been operational for about 7. Today marks the 5th time a repairman has been out to fix this compactor. I have had a compactor for years (since 2000) and this new compactor has been nothing but problematic. Thank goodness I purchased an extended 5 year warranty through my dealer...I'm thinking I will need it.
