Like the entire face as stainless steel

Easy to install and operate. I like the hidden controls. It looks great with the solid stainless front panel. I purchased this unit because of the high quality of GE products.

GREAT kitchen compactor. I like the foot pedal that opens the compactor and lift the foot pedal and it crushes.

Doesn't Compact Well

Really doesn't compact well. Also have difficulty with faulty safety switch. For an expensive appliance, should function much better and more reliably. Find a better model elsewhere.

GE Trash Compactor

Trash Compactor was supplied by Home Warranty, it is noisier then the Bosch it replaced, it works well and looks good

TRASH COMPACTOR IS EXTREMELY NOISY WHEN OPERATING

If this trash compactor is indicative of the quality of your new product line, I have no I intention of ever buying another GE product. If I could return this compactor I would in a heartbeat. We have owned many GE products over the years, and none have been manufactured as poorly as this compactor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
