Lovely oven, but needs to include instructions.

So far I like the oven...I hope in a few weeks I'll say I love it. Don't know yet.
But, it needed to come with instructions! Like, how to remove the grates. Yes, I eventually found the tabs, but it wasn't intuitive. And the temperature probe...I'll give it a try, I think I see where to plug it in, but I would feel more confident if there was something to tell me what to expect.

So, now for the POSITIVE. I love the double door, and I love having the oven on the wall. My husband couldn't understand why I didn't want a traditional range where you have risk burning yourself to get stuff out, and you have to get down on your knees to clean it.
I managed to set up the wifi connection and that works...but, again, I'd love more instructions to maximize my experience.

Love my French Door Oven!

Absolutely love this oven. We were able to install in an addition that included a huge new kitchen. Working with our builder (who also made the cabinets), it was so easy to figure out the best location for this oven. It works great at counter height, no bending over, no reaching up. It's opposite of a very large island where I can prepare what's going in the oven, away from other cooking that may be taking place on the stove. About the cooking with the oven - it holds temperature well and heats up quickly! The alerts, such as when it reaches its temperature or the timer, are loud enough to hear and even have warning alerts on countdowns. My only down comment is that our GE stove with oven below holds a large pizza box (to keep it warm) that won't fit in this oven because it is not as deep.
Will be honest...when I suggested a French Door Oven, my husband balked at the extravagance. This from the same man who was forever cautioning me when lifting heavy dishes in and out of our conventional double wall mount oven. He was convinced that I would drop a dish or burn myself or both. Now that we have this oven, he LOVES it too and really sees the benefits of how easy it is to get things in and out of a very hot oven!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just started using my French Door Wall Oven. Whether it’s baking a cake or a chicken, all comes out delicious! I love that it perfectly browns to a nice, even golden color. I
also like that I can open it with 1 hand to place food in or out or just to check on my dish, when I’m multitasking! This oven alerts me when my food is done, I can get recipes & it even self cleans! It is also beautiful! What’s there not to love?

Omg what a beautiful oven! It is so easy to use and read. It was quite the surprise when I saw the extended shelves to prevent burning your arms, as this is exactly what I need.

So far not impressed. Oven does not let me get to the air fry mode, and the screen freezes up so clock, timer and light do not work. However oven keeps heating/running.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Air Fry feature can be accessed through the WiFi enabled SmartHQ app. Since you are experiencing issues with the display freezing, we recommend resetting your oven by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician. Perfect for short/petite people!!

Love it. Can’t say enough good things.
I’m short 5.3’ a walk oven is dangerous (leaning into burning arms & chest) a range oven is not as troublesome but the body mechanics needed are not good and balance is off (falls) this is perfect. Open the doors and I don’t get burnt, lift heavy items out without a worry.

Love the oven….GE help, NO

I actually love this oven. I’m short and the French doors make it easier to get things in and out. That is why I got it again at a different house we bought and renovated. However….. don’t ever use the self cleaning! It burns out the control panel. And, it is a nightmare to get anyone from GE to help or fix or replace! After 3 months of going back and forth with GE, they must have finally heard us and our complaint and sent us a new oven. Don’t ever use the self clean!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
