Constantly breaks

In 4 years the coffee maker broke a s fridge stopped cooling. For the price this fridge should have worked for a decade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolutely love this refrigerator. The built in Keurig K-cup brewing system is the best feature ever! Morning coffee is ready in a snap. I highly recommend the GE Cafe refrigerator with Keurig K Cup Brewing System.

Okay fridge, needs some modifications

Easy to control, monitor, and adjust temperatures for freezer and refrigerator. Low oder, especially when the kids hide open soda in the back & it spills
Ice dispenser needs a modification - the shoot doesn't come down enough to keep ice from flying - I've tried glasses, pitchers, and mugs....up as close as possible....and ice still flying onto the floor

Lots of problems

I have had my fridge for only 5 years and had to order a new fridge as the main board, San and other items completely stopped functioning. Don’t buy this without a long extended and full warranty! Tons of electronic issues. So disappointed. Expected more from GE never again.

NO ICE EVER

We are a cold beverage family of 5. That being said: DO NOT buy if you actually like having ice in your ice bin. There is no way to increase the amount it makes or timing. It's a small tray every 4+ hours.
Had I known about the lack of ice--I would have skipped this fridge all together. We have to use a second fridge for a fraction of the cost to make up for the ice we need.

Expected better from top end of the product line

Won't cool after a little over a year. Warranty good for 5 years but after 3 service calls a frozen water line and a fridge of spoiled food we still don't have a working unit.
