Great Refrigerator Design - Love It

Purchased this to replace a LG refrigerator which the cooling system failed after only 22 months. The looks of the GNE29GSKGSS refrigerator is clean and sleek. We wanted a refrigerator without the door dispenser or an ice maker in the refrigerator top section; just less issues and increases the useful space of the upper compartment and doors. Love the fact that it’s control panel on the side of the door shows the set and actual temperature of the refrigerator and the freezer. All the doors and trays operate smoothly and the interior lighting is excellent. The compressor and the ice maker are very quiet and are a welcome sound after doing without a refrigerator for an entire month, what a nightmare. Highly recommend this model and I have confidence this GE refrigerator will last a lot longer than the previous refrigerator.

Great fridge and value

We've had the fridge for a few months, and bought it because we didn't want a water dispenser (honestly: it's just one more thing that can break down!). Look is good, performance is good. Only nit is that the doors take an extra nudge to make sure they are closed.

Love the light inside

We bought the refrigerator several months ago. It has worked well - I love the light that makes it easy to see inside and layout in the fridge. I can accommodate large dishes and it’s easy to reconfigure the door shelves for special needs.

I've only been using this a little over a month. Love that I can put the items I go for most on one side and just open the one door. Big freezer on bottom but wish there were slots or dividers to separate and stand items so more easily seen and organized. Ice maker takes several days to fill bin.

We can see everything!

We've had this refrigerator three months. The biggest thing my wife and I noticed is, with all the lighting we can see all the food. In the past, things seemed to get lost. We didn't want an ice maker / water dispenser in the door because that takes up room. We found that we can put the small yogurt, jello, and cottage cheese containers on the doors. The neat thing about the shelves on the doors is they are all large enough to put gallon containers. With the freezer on the bottom, everything is easier to get to than the old side by side refrigerator freezer we used to have.

Great interior space makes room for everything

I bought this because its the biggest fridge with the ability to put milk jugs and other beverage containers in both doors. I valued interior space over an ice dispenser. It still has ice in tbe drawer. Its well lit and the freezer drawer hold a lot and its lit also. I like the door open chime thats not harsh. It runs a little louder than or old fridge but its not bad and when its not been opened its quiet.
