We opted for this fridge 5 years ago when our last fridge kicked because it’s basic model seemed to be good for making sure that it would last a long time since we just wanted a fridge that keeps things cold and a freezer that keeps things frozen. Now we’re dealing with a freezer that is dead and a fridge that won’t hold temp below 50 degrees so what gives??? How is it that we can’t have a fridge that actually does its job anymore???? My college mini fridge is 20 years old and still works but this expensive fridge fails after 5 years???

Fit in to the cabinetry well

This refrigerator replaced a 13 year old GE Profile that decided to not cool any more. The new Ge fit the hole precisely which was critical. The only thing that we miss on the new one was the 4" tray that ran the length and was attached to the bottom freezer door. We used it to store small items that we use frequently. Now we have to search for them. We miss that on the new one. We love the fingerprint resistance . Much better. The interior lighting is improved. The deeper door shelves on the door are very nice. If it lasts 13 more years there will be no complaints...other than the non existent freezer door tray

This is a wonderful refrigerator. Lots of room. We went without the water dispenser and chose brita pitchers instead. So much room, love the freezer space below.

While this refrigerator model does not include a water dispenser, it does have TwinChill™ evaporators that allow for separate climates in the fresh food and freezer sections help keep foods fresh. No printed owners/operators manual. Ice worked spit out ice for one cycle and then stopped working. This is a higher end GE fridge and proved disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
