GE French Door malfunction

We purchased the GE French door Bottom freezer fridge in 2015. This year it suddenly stopped cooling. We replaced the evaporator fan which was not working. After this was done the fridge randomly drops in temperature and it is very difficult to adjust the digital temperature controls. I have checked the manual and searched online and cannot find clear instructions for adjusting the temperature. The manual is unclear and the digital controls let you increase the temperature, but there is no way to set it at the desired 37 degrees.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the large capacity of the refrigerator and the freezer, however, the motor is very loud.

We enjoy the brightness with the LED lights and the space is awesome! My old fridge is a GE it still works great 18 years later

Looks great! Cools Great! Makes a truckload if ice! So much better than the Samsung I was talked into 5 years ago ( it died after years of chronic illness).
