Simple yet elegant and roomy!

If you want a roomy fridge and don't need all the bells & whistles ( that break and cause angst down the road) then consider this model. It feels solid when opening and closing the doors. Gone are the days of "silent" refrigerators but this model simply has a low-tone background hum when it cycles, nothing annoying, high pitched or noticeable unless your home is dead quiet. ( we had another brand that banged and popped loudly and scared people when it did!) The SS does smudge, as do the handles, but we knew this. We needed SS to avoid changing out expensive ovens. There are newer, matte finishes but this model did not come with that choice ( black slate).. darn it! However, with hardwood floors, we opted out of the ice maker & water in the door to avoid damage to the floors and gain a great deal of additional storage in the door. It makes a big difference not having all the contraptions up top. The ice maker in the freezer does a great job and will not jam up like older models with ice in the door used to do. We live in the NW so our tap water ( filtered) is plenty cold so we don't need water in the fridge.
We've only had our refrigerator a few weeks so hope we are as happy 10 years from now! Lastly, we bought it on line through Sears and got such a good price, our local appliance dealer said to go ahead and order it as it was below their cost!

Bought for a new home based on good reviews. Ice maker was a little slow at first until I turned the freezer temp down to -4F. It makes plenty of ice for us now.

I have had this for severl months. The only downside is I can't get all of the protective plastic out from the edges of the doors.

This refrigerator performs well and is aesthetically pleasing. The stainless steel and LED lighting is sure to impress. The ice maker also produces ice faster than expected. I love the space and French door layout. My only negative feedback so far is the access panel for the heat exchanger coils is located on the back of the fridge. Also, the sub-contracted delivery service was hasty in the assembly and did not fully set up the fridge.
