Great capacity. Suits our needs to a “T”. No extras we did not want like water dispenser or ice makers that rob you of the capacity you may need.

Nice Big Refrigerator

Have only had it about a month but everything seems to work fine. The only issue I have with it involves the relatively flimsy plastic drawer handles for both the freezer pull out shelf and deli meat drawer. They don't seem very well thought out and I can see where they will easily break if someone is in a rush.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Service call for light bulbs

The fridge is fine. It's roomy. But you need to have a technician come when the light bulbs go out. Which they have about every 6 months. According to the tech they're like Christmas lights. When one goes out they all do. Expensive and inconvenient. We're probably going to adhesive lights.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I specifically researched and asked for the model with the ice an water inside, not in the door. I got this one instead. I love it. No water inside but a little bigger. I bought a Brita and kept it because I like the size a lot. I waited a long time to get the wrong refrigerator. I was one a list of 3 people with 3 fridges coming in and waited several months. I don't know if it was GE or if the Salesman bumped me for other customers.

So Far, So Great!

Our new refrigerator was just delivered and installed yesterday, 02/03/21. The installation went smoothly and no problems at all; it didn't take the installers long to put it all together and get it going. So far the refrigerator is working fine and cooled down to the proper factory set temperatures. It is a really nice, good looking refrigerator with french doors and a lower freezer drawer, in slate gray, and no ice maker. It has a ton of storage space and we will definitely have plenty of room to store everything with more space left over. It had a great price which was a bargain considering all the space that it has. Even though we have only had it for a couple of days I would recommend this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful look and fit

Overall, the installation was easy and a good fit beneath cabinets. The interior is very spacious and very easy to adjust shelves and door storage trays to accommodate all manner of containers and food storage. The digital features of setting upper and lower temps, ice maker took a good 4 days to fill up in the beginning but no problems, and the overall it's well built.
Two items of concern, first, upon initial installation and during the first few weeks of use the largest shelf which crisper drawers are mounted to dipping the middle when loaded (all big jug stuff, milk, OJ, creamer, etc.) thus causing crisper drawers to make contact with fridge interior and very rough to open (and scrape off plastic guide material) as they were out of alignment. After poking around and inspecting underneath the front face of the large shelf, crisper drawers removed, a metal c-channel stabilizer was found underneath the plastic shelf face (this runs perpendicular to the drawers). Close inspection revealed that the metal c-channel had shifted to one side as it is not exactly the same length as the width of the shelf. Once the c-channel was shifted into correct position (made contact with each side of the refrigerator under the shelf), the shelf remained stable no matter what was placed on it , and the crisper draws work flawlessly. To shift the c-channel support, make sure crisper drawers are removed and then you can manipulate the position of the metal, gently apply upward pressure to the underside of the shelf to lessen the friction on the c-channel, then gently slide the c-channel left or right until it slips between the shelf and the shelf brackets attached to the sides of the fridge. Due to the amount of play, try to center the c-channel as best you can. With weight placed back on the shelf seems to be holding the channel in place, 2 months later. Suspect its not capable of being over loaded anyway but at least it can be fixed simply.
Item 2 is more of a nuisance than anything, even with the fridge leveled up, the right door does not stay open, it slowly closes back on you and it is annoying. Probably another adjustment on the door to be figured out.

We replaced our GE Profile with this new fridge. It is huge! Tons of storage space and a massive freezer. We still have the Profile, it is now in the garage. It has made a ton of ice in the first 24 hours and seams to work very well. I would defiantly buy another one.
