I love this new refrigerator especially having the refrigerator which you use much more often on the top so you don't have to get on hands and knees to get stuff out of veggie racks, etc. Handy, practical, beautiful!

Second refrigerator of this basic model

Four years ago, we bought the GE refrigerator of essentially this model, only white. It worked exceptionally well for us. When we bought a new house this summer, we moved in, and quickly realized that we needed to get the model we had just left in our old house. So we bought the same model, but this one in stainless steel, because GE did not make it in white any longer. Stellar, simple, brilliant, effective design.

We really appreciate all the room but are let down by the noise level of the motor. It was much quieter when first installed but noise increased within the first month

Absolutely love this refrigerator ! Room for everything and everything in its special place. I purchased a different brand just six months previous and my husband and i complained daily to each other and then decided to put it in the garage and buy a new one. I hated to buy two refrigerators in less than a year but I am so glad I did! Love this GE!!!!!

I wish it had a few additional features

Overall, it’s a great fridge. Tons of room, quiet, makes tons of ice. The only thing I miss is It doesn’t have a small shelf on the freezer door. Our old one had it and it was handy to keep ice packs and small items that could get lost down in the freezer.

Exactly what I needed

I'm replacing a 2000 model side-by-side refrigerator/freezer we've had since new. It has been a wonderful, dependable old friend. When a repair was needed GE service made everything so easy. Replaceing the old frig has been a difficult decision. But with the two decades of great GE service and experience it made deciding what to buy easy. Thank you GE. Every applicance in the home is GE. I wouldn't have it any other way. Plus, buying American makes me proud!!!

The room inside in amazing! Love being able to open one door and grab what I want. The freezer let’s me keep often used items at the top and thing I don’t use often underneath. We had a side by side and I absolutely love being able to put a whole sheet pan in this fridge!
