Buyer beware

BUYER BEWARE!!!
The LED interior lights burn out very quickly and cause the entire interior of the fridge to be dark. Not to mention these can only be serviced by a technician and after the short 1 year coverage warranty it will be your responsibility to cover this! Do not recommend this product due to the inconvenience.

Cheap Hardawar Door Mullion Will Not Close

Over all its a dissent refrigerator the hardware is cheaply made like the door shelfs will creak after time the most annoying part is the Door Mullion stopped closing (it does not engage in track on top just passes by tried lifting the Mullion will help for once but keeps on sliding down) after a couple a months, leaving the gap between the doors open, after asking around and searching on line i noticed that this problem has been around for years and GE did nothing to address it, so be aware when buying as there is no fix for it. And GE will not accept any responsibility.

BE CAREFUL SCRATCHES

I bought this refridgerator and was super excited. Spacious. But..... Using a micro fiber cloth or any soft cloth leaves scratches on the gloss. That's using water, no chemicals. Its terrible, so disappointed in the finish. My fridge looks terrible in the sunlight now. Would never buy gloss black again. Miss the black textured finish.

What a joke!

When we bought our new house all the appliances had to be new GE so we didn't have a choice. After only being in the house 2 years the fridge circulator broke. We had it fixed (while rotating ice blocks every 4-6hrs to keep everything as cold as possible). It happened again another year later and we did the same thing. Another year later it happened for a 3rd time! Our builder replaced the fridge but it had to be another GE. Well, fast forward 2 years and here we are again with a broken fridge! Lost over $400 worth of groceries and other items! We will never buy GE again...period!

I bought this refrigerator based on ratings from Consumer Reports, and from ratings by individuals at various online dealers. The ratings convinced me this was a good choice and so far it is excellent. It feels strong, and well built. The only thing I don't like is the plastic that it ships with, that is a nightmare to get off, I still have chunks of it in various places. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my choice to buy a USA made GE fridge!

I'm not completely thrilled with frig for several reasons the plastic didn't come completely off its stuck where the seems are, the doors arnt level, the drawer in bottom catches on ice cube tray drawer and ther is spray foam oozing from the seems in front and center , top and side

Looks nice and has lots of room but the compressor runs frequently and makes many different noises that worry us. We had a serviceman out to look at it but he said it was normal. We'll see. It also came with a blemish in the finish but they gave us a whole new refrigerator. Great service.

Best design of freezer drawer

We shopped all brands, and found GE to have the features we liked best. Especially the freezer drawer and ice maker. We did not want the water or ice in the door.
