Good Looking Functional Unit, Poor Interior Layout

The exterior of the unit is well designed, like the double doors on top and the freezer drawer design below. Even good with the interior ice maker as we did not want ice through the door. However, the interior design of the drawers in the fridge does not make 100% sense. The crisper drawers on the left and right side require you to open both exterior doors to slide open either drawer. The ice make is working well, but the ice storage tray is a little shallow so you do not get much ice volume before if shut off because its full.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good volume in both the fridge and freezer. Especially like the sling tray in the freezer. We waited to get the "slate" finish and couldn't be happier!

Beautiful refrigerator and was really excited about it until problems...First of all there were delivery issues and finally got delivery on the third try after wasting two days waiting for product to be delivered and installed. After 5 days of having the refrigerator in our house which was working beautifully to begin with we notice the freezer was not working and now we're waiting for a repair person to come out and hopefully they will arrive as scheduled this Monday June 20th, 2022... unfortunately, with all the previous mishaps we've had we had with scheduled delivery appointments that were not kept, we do not have a lot of faith that a GE Repair person will show up as scheduled. We did get credited for installation and delivery because of the mishaps with our scheduled deliveries, but it's really not enough considering all the stress that's been involved here and now having to pull all the stuff out of our freezer and find a location to keep it from spoiling. We have so many GE Appliances and this is really very disheartening and disappointing and making us think twice about our Appliance choices. We'll see if it gets fixed as scheduled, if not we have three days to pull the product and other GE products from our home that we recently purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Spacious fridge

We've had this fridge well over a year when we renovated our kitchen and bought matching appliances (we have a GE dishwasher and gas range too). So far, so good. No major issues whatsoever. We like the features such as temp control for both fridge/freezer, accurate temps once set, water filter reminder (for ice dispenser), and how quiet this fridge is. We weren't looking for a water dispenser fridge since we have an RO system next to the kitchen faucet and only needed an ice dispenser (we have a whole house filtration system and water softener so water going in is filtered and softened minus the RO filtration). I'd definitely recommend.
