thrilled with our purchase, do wish the slide out tray front slid up instead of not opening. Makes it difficult to get a full platter into the tray.

It does what it's supposed to do

The refrigerator does what it's supposed to do. I renovated a kitchen and made the mistake of looking at all the new appliances on the same day. I knew I wanted a full size fridge without the water dispenser. This fridge doesn't have the covered butter tray, or a place for small items. ALL the door bins hold gallon size containers, and this is a bit of overkill-unless you pack in the smaller items (salad dressing, condiments, smaller water bottles, etc) they all tumble over if you tug on the door too fast. The veggies bins are big, and you can't open one door to access that side's bin-you must open both doors. My old fridge had a skinny drawer in the middle (perfect for celery) that offset the bins enough to allow access through one door. The door alarm is less annoying than in the past, and it can be turned off.

Working great after 6 weeks of use. The shelves, adjusted at the far there's apart notch, do not accommodate the gallon Tupperware pitcher, and the Rubbermaid pitcher bumps both shelves. The doirs, adjusted at the farthest brackets, using all shelves, barely allows for large juices and milk jugs. Another bracket in all areas would be a bonus!

I've only been using this a little over a month. Love that I can put the items I go for most on one side and just open the one door. Big freezer on bottom but wish there were slots or dividers to separate and stand items so more easily seen and organized. Ice maker takes several days to fill bin.

Great fridge and value

We've had the fridge for a few months, and bought it because we didn't want a water dispenser (honestly: it's just one more thing that can break down!). Look is good, performance is good. Only nit is that the doors take an extra nudge to make sure they are closed.

Both my husband and I are VERY happy with this frig/freezer it is the first french door style we have had, wish we would have gotten one sooner. The only Slight change GE should consider- is instead of the Full wide "bottom drawer in the frig-" they should split it also like the fruit/vegetable drawers so one did not have to open both doors to get at something in it.......
