Good quaaity for the price.

My LG died 2 month after warranty, so I was certainly not going to get another of them, but did want a large size, and I wanted separate refrigeration cycles for the freezer and fridge. This one met my needs at a good price point. Of course, only time will tell, I will have to see how long it lasts!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We were looking for a fridge that had a clean looking front and minimal "gadgets". Other than the ice maker this unit checked all the boxes. Love the size of the bins on the doors and the LED lighting throughout.

Unbelievable- we purchased this refrigerator from looking on line at the GE web site. Never have we spent this much money on something we didn’t take the time to look at and evaluate in in the store. We are so pleased with the quality of workmanship, the layout, the tons if room. Definitely a keeper!

Faulty bottom drawer freezer closing

Alignment of freezer drawer with body is off. Light stays on and warning unless I slam the drawer. Repairman says not adjustable. Waiting for new drawer front. Will see.

We love our new refrigerator!

Our previous refrigerator was a GE french door refrigerator (built in ice-maker, but no built-in water dispenser) purchased in 2009. Our previous fridge was a little smaller (23 cf) and lasted about 11 years before starting to have problems. The main issue was temperature regulation.... the fridge would get warmer than appropriate and then try to adjust by getting colder than desired. So food would spoil faster and develop a "freeze" layer.
In comes the new fridge, and we're already familiar with the french door style, so it feels "normal" already. This fridge is significantly larger than our old one and we love the organization tools (large drawers, deep door pockets). And yes, temperature regulation is perfect... our food is NOT spoiling (thank you!) We especially like the "showcase" lighting that allows the little LED lights along the edges of the interior to shine directly at the fridge contents. No blinding LED light shining in our eyes, and everything is well-lit, even if one part of the fridge is full (as there are multiple LED bulbs throughout).
The fridge is quiet (only hear a gentle hum when it is cooling). Awesome!
With the larger capacity, this fridge allows us to rearrange and organize contents more methodically (rather than just trying to stuff everything in). This makes retrieving food from the fridge so much easier.... we know everything "has a place".
If we have one quibble (and this is minor), one of the french door gaskets was warped upon arrival, causing a very small amount of cold air to escape with the doors closed. A call to GE Service resulted in a new gasket being sent to me free of charge, and I was able to remove the old gasket and insert the new gasket in about 5 minutes. Problem solved, and now everything is perfect with no cold air leakage.
Overall, we are very happy with our new fridge and highly recommend this to others looking for a large capacity fridge.
