I love my French Doors, bottom freezer GE fridge

Purchased August 2016. Would not change a thing! Except maybe the fact that at times the doors don’t close completely. At least it begins to sound a low alarm to let me know it needs to be closed.

Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator

We have had our refrigerator since July 2016. I like everything about the refrigerator except for the freezer ice maker has frozen up twice now. We waited for a week to get a repair man out here to fix it. He was able to quickly defrost it and raised the temperature of the freezer, but now 30 days later we have the same problem. He did show us how to defrost it, but I don't want to mess with it and jeopardize the warranty. Also, I spent a lot of money for this refrigerator and I would like to have it fixed instead of having to defrost it every month. I will be calling to make a service appointment tomorrow.
Although, I like the refrigerator, there are a couple of suggestions for future models. Fix the ice problem and add a water dispenser on the inside. We did not buy a model with water on the door because of all the reviews of water leakage and problems with the door/ice freezing up. It would be nice to have the option to have the water dispenser on the inside.

I decided agains thr exterior water/ice maker. I'm very happy with that decision as it gives so much more door space. This is my first GE fridge and so far I am happy with the features and quality.

I bought this refrigerator about a month ago and am so glad that I did. The cubic footage is excellent! The door alarm is very helpful. The freezer has good space available. It is well designed!

Quiet, Cool Refridgerator

This refrigerator looks good (clean and simple) and runs great. It is extremely quiet and keeps the food at the set temperatures as expected. The ice maker is working without any issues. This refrigerator replaced a 23 year old side-by-side GE refrigerator which is still running great also.

Looks nice and has lots of room but the compressor runs frequently and makes many different noises that worry us. We had a serviceman out to look at it but he said it was normal. We'll see. It also came with a blemish in the finish but they gave us a whole new refrigerator. Great service.
