Just whatt I wanted

Like this refrigerator a lot. Fits the space and I love the french doors. I also love the open door chime feature since my husband had a tendency to not close the door properly. Problem solved. Only complaint is that I had a full sized freezer before and it's a little hard to see everything with this style freezer.

Finally a Fridge with Style!

We finally got the farmhouse we always wanted but searching for appliances was difficult. I didn't want the classic white. The stainless was too trendy but when I saw the new Slate that was perfect. Not only did we love the GE style, but we love how heavy and substantial the refrigerator feels. The openness of this model on the fridge top side gives us plenty of room for trays of food for parties and the freezer can produce an abundance of ice which is necessary in the Vegas heat of summer. It's an all around great appliance and looks amazing in my new farmhouse kitchen!

Have had this refrigerator going on two weeks now, and love it! Haven't any issues regarding it being loud or noisy, I can barely hear the thing when it is cycling. Hoping it will last many years to come!

Too loud

Unit functions well but when it runs it makes a droning noise I can hear throughout the first floor of my home. By far the loudest refrigerator I have ever had.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Side by Side to French Door

Just got my new fridge. Black smudges easily and scratches easily in the clear coat finish. Wish it had more freezer room. Bought the 28.5, fresh food section has alot of room. More noise than my 20 year old fridge.

I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT 3MOUNTHS AGO AND NOW THAT IT IS SUMER THE ICE MAKER WILL NOT KEEP UP AND THERE ONLY 3 PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE

I like this fridge so far, but it does make some strange buzzing noises which I have no pin pointed yet. I believe it has something to do with the ice maker. I haven't had it very long so I can't give a proper review yet. I made the mistake of forgetting to get one with a water dispenser. The reason I give it a 3 star rating is because I really wanted a different model and it does make that buzzing noise. My cheap fridge that came with my house is totally silent, so I don't know what this ones problems is.
