Features OK, but too noisy.

Appearance and features are great and it maintains temperatures at correct levels (checked with separate thermometer). Disappointed with amount of time refrigerator runs and it could run a lot quieter.

Great refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator to replace an existing one. We really like the new features. Things like notifications on open doors, or temperature of the freezer are very helpful

Freezer drawer continually falls off tracks

Had this for a year now and hate it. Fridge is good, and space is great. But, the design of the freezer drawer is horrible and cheap. The rollers on the drawer do not stick out as wide as the tracks they are supposed to run on. Drawer always falls off the tracks and gets misaligned, resulting in the freezer door not closing all the way. Most of the time it causes the door alarm to go off but it has a few times closed enough to not trigger the alarm but is open slightly and all the contents end up frosted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Fridge

I moved into a new home and the GE refrigerator began to have difficulty maintaining the temperature in both the freezer and the refrigerator. I tried to have it repaired only to find the cost of repair was only sightly less than purchasing a new refrigerator, in part due to the new regulations on freon. The GE fit into the space available so I purchased it. It is a welcome change from the previous side by side as now I can accommodate large items in both the freezer and the fridge and I appreciate the fridge shelves being at eye height-not having to bend down to see what is in the fridge.
I also appreciate the clean design and new energy efficiency. Thanks GE!

This Unit was installed on 15 Sept, 2017. It was noted that a slight motor hum was clearly audible. The NOISE has increased and much louder.
Again clearly Audible through out the whole house. Very disturbing.
