There should be a freezer light. It is beyond me why this feature was omitted since this unit isn't cheap. Also the warranty of just one year tells me the reliability isn't were it should be. Based on the reviews it appears that the build quality is suspect base on the % of negative reviews. The % of negative reviews should be reduced by a better quality program. If it costs 15% to insure you get a quality built product its worth it. Maybe try ISO9000
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Spacious and easy to organize

This fridge is roomier than my last, and that extra, narrow shelf at the bottom of the door is perfect for storing condiments. I appreciate the adjustable shelf in the freezer, and the way the meat/deli drawer can be positioned anywhere along the shelf. I'm super happy with my new fridge.

Great Refrigerator but appliance cord is too short

I bought this refrigerator to replace one that was 18 years old. It checked all of the boxes as far as what I needed - larger freezer, adequate size veg draws, moderate increase in door space. It takes up almost the exact same space in my kitchen, is so much quieter and is working well. My only complaint is that the electrical cord is too short to reach the outlet. I have an old kitchen and now will have to pay an electrician to move the outlet. Considering the expense involved the fridge costs more than expected. I am currently using an extension cord which is very annoying. If not for the too short cord I would have given a 5 star rating.
I would recommend this to a friend!
