why no light in the freezer?

Is there a freezer light kit available for this product?

Poor refrigeration

The first refrigerator lasted about 15 days. Our dealer replaced it. The new one is n ow 17 days old and with the refrigeration setting set at 5 (the coldest setting) the new thermometer I bought registers at 39.5 degrees. My brand new half gallon of milk is spoiled already because at the #4 setting it was cooling only to 42 degrees.
My last GE refrigerator lasted 26+ years. Since it was leaking we felt the need to replace it. Big mistake! We have had a long history with GE appliances and I am so very disappointed with this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not cooling well

Freezer compartment had moisture, condensation, and icicles after 2-3 days. Technician sealed apparent opening in cabinet hoping to resolve.
Fresh food compartment only maintains about 40-41 degrees on coldest setting. Recommended temp for fresh food is 35-38 degrees.
Not acceptable for brand new refrigerator.
Next available technician visit is July 15.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn’t cool

Doesn’t cool below 40 degrees, icicles inside freezer door. It’s been almost 3 weeks, part ordered. Very little help from consumer relations. I still don’t have a refrigerator I can safely store food in.

Worst efrigerator I have ever owned.

I have had this for just under a year and have needed two service calls. The refrigerator portion would not get below 50⁰. The thermostat was replaced only to go out again. GE used to mean quality, seems those days are gone.

So Disappointed

I am on my second service call since purchasing the refrigerator in July. The first service call I made was in August. The first call was because their was constant ice buildup around the freezer door and the refrigerator was not cold so everything spoiled. The repair person said that I must have left the freezer door open which caused it to freeze up between the freezer and the fridge. BUT, after that the refrigerator temperature still does not get down below 45 degrees and usually is at about 50 degrees and should be 35 to 38 degrees. The freezer does not get down below 10 degrees, but online sources say it should be at 0 degrees. So frustrated.
