EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO REMOVE PROTECTIVE PLASTIC

I can only reserve judgement on this appliance until it has been in use for a while. At this point in time I am giving GE a VERY POOR rating for the degree of difficulty in removing the heavy plastic sheeting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great. We are using this as an extra refrigerator in the garage. Holds a lot of food items. This will be great for needed space when entertaining.

Great simple fridge

We wanted a simple top freezer that would be reliable. The fridge itself looks very nice and has plenty of room for all the items we had in our previous side by side.

Freezer needs a defrost cycle

The freezer is constantly over freezing and causing a lot of frost and some of the items are staying wet.
