On first impression the refrigerator sits down so low to the floor. You have to get way down to access most things in the fridge. Really rather odd! Accessing the bottom shelf on the door is almost impossible since its inset so far into the door. Lots of freezer space shame there wasnt more fridge space. The whole fridge sits too low. Come on GE is this your first fridge???

This is not really a garage ready refrigerator it only good for 69 degrees and above!

We have double-checked the specifications and this is a garage-ready model. Garage-ready refrigerators have been designed and extensively tested for use in a garage environment, performing in ambient temperatures from 38°F to 110°F. We see you had service out to check the unit and it was determined your refrigerator is operating properly. Terrible freezer fluxuates 10-15 degrees

Terrible product. Won’t keep food frozen. GE replaced original unit but still having same problem. Temp fluxuates between 10-15 degrees.

Bizarre Experience

I feel as though I committed a crime by purchasing a new GE refrigerator. Came with wrong door swing. Then waited for corrected swing. Then waited for handles to be installed. Still waiting for emblem plug. Never again.

Ice cream does not freeze hard

An appliance not cooling enough could be due to several different factors, including the seal around the door not functioning properly, the freezer being overfilled, and the unit not being given enough time to cool properly.
