Very good garage refrigerator/freezer, so far. Basic but good flexibility and ease for rearranging the shelves and getting the space you need. Freezer has no ice maker so it’s huge and perfect for a garage.
Nice refrigerator for the garage; It keeps a constant temperature in extreme temperature environment. Would give it 5 stars if the freezer door would not pop open when I accidentally close the refrigerator briskly. Also, I miss having a light in the freezer compartment.
Pretty nice but freezer temperature goes up unexpectedly for no reason. It is only 3 weeks old and it has happened twice. I turned temperature all the to coldest now. Had one just like this model and the same thing happened. Obviously a flaw of ge products. I did get it replaced due to my extended warranty. Not totally pleased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're sorry to hear that the freezer temperature is fluctuating. We're glad that your unit was replaced under warranty.
Overall, I'm not really impressed with this model. The fridge portion is far too low, but with limited options I knew what I would be getting in that respect. The skinny shelf in the door is not very useful, so it feels like I've lost storage space from my previous model. It runs very loud and every time ( and I mean every time) you shut either the freezer or the fridge door, it makes a loud thumping/rattling noise. So if you need in and out of in a few times, its very annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It’s unexpected to hear that your new refrigerator has left you feeling less than impressed. We are constantly working to make our appliances better, and we’ll be sure to forward your feedback about the shelves and the refrigerator portion being too low to our product team so we can continue to improve. We also suggest checking out the articles linked below for information on the sounds you’ll hear from a running refrigerator.
If none of that helps, or if you believe the sounds you’re hearing are beyond normal operation, we recommend having your unit diagnosed by one of our qualified technicians. You can schedule service by calling 1-800-432-2737 or by going to https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm.
Only had it a week. But am liking it. Getting used to the compressor coming on more often - seems newer fridges do this more than my (25 year old) one did. Lots of storage space.
