easy set up.. bought because i enjoyed my last GE product, which was also a refridgerator. this one here is already makes a noise when the freezer door is opened and closed.. sounds like something lose.. but...the features are nice...and i will have the guy come look after the all cleaqr of the covid 19 .
The last (new) refrigerator I had was nothing but trouble. This GE refrigerator runs happily and keeps the items in my fridge box cold while the freezer actually freezes! I know that sounds simple, but believe me, not all refrigerators work that way! I appriciate it every time I open it! Love the sliding meet drawer too!
This has met our needs for a second fridge in our basement. It is quiet and operates to the temp ranges I need. Door racks are a bit unusual, but am figuring them out.
The repair person is coming out for a second time in two weeks. The refrigerator sounds like a freight train in my kitchen. It keeps me awake at night & I can hear it running over the TV. I have a heart condition & not getting restful sleep is detrimental to my health. The fiest time repair was out they said the fan in the freezer was hitting something which if left unattended would cause ice build up. At the time of visit the frig was a week old. Not good. The next visit is on the two week anniversary. Oh, I just read the fine print. This may never be published.
I wanted a refridgerator that could stay in my basement or garage. This one is perfect as it has the ability to run in a wider temp range than a standard model.
